How it all started...
Albuquerque's First Baptist Church has been making disciples of Jesus Christ since 1853. AFBC was founded more than 170 years ago. The church's first building was erected on the northeast corner of Lead and Broadway in 1891. In 2010, the church moved to the West Side of Albuquerque. As we continue to move forward, we know we are building on the past. We honor the legacy of what God has done through AFBC. We know He is at work to reach more people. and we are called to serve those in our community as we seek to make disciples.
