Chris Hansen
Chris Hansen has served as a deacon at Albuquerque’s First Baptist Church for two years and currently serves as Vice Deacon Chair. With a heart for serving others, Chris is committed to helping fulfill God's mission for His church. He considers it a privilege to support the ministry of Albuquerque’s First Baptist Church through service to the community and the body of Christ. Chris has been happily married for 17 years and has three wonderful children who love God. He holds a Master’s in health administration and serves the community through his work in healthcare.
One of his favorite passages of scripture is 2 Corinthians 5:14-15 - “For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.”
Compelled by Christ’s love and sacrifice, Chris believes we are called to live not for ourselves but in service to the One who died and rose for us.
