Ryan Kettler
Ryan Kettler serves as the Executive Pastor and Elder at Albuquerque’s First Baptist Church, where he helps coordinate church life by assisting the Lead Pastor with events and scheduling, maintaining the church’s social media presence, and overseeing leadership development. Ryan has a deep passion for equipping others to grow in their faith and lead with purpose. He and his wife, Jessica, have two children, Maydson and Bryson, who both attend the University of New Mexico. Ryan serves faithfully as a small group leader and on the worship team, using his gifts to help others connect with God and one another.
Ryan earned his Ph.D. in Leadership from the University of New Mexico and brings both academic insight and pastoral heart to his ministry. Outside of ministry, he enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors hunting and fishing, caring for his bees, and building acoustic guitars. His favorite verse, Ephesians 1:7 — “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace” — reminds him daily of God’s incredible mercy and grace. Above all, Ryan’s desire is to see the Kingdom of God grow and for every aspect of life to bring glory to Him.
