Youth director
Talon serves as the Youth Director for students 6th grade to 12th grade at First Baptist Church Albuquerque. His mission is to help others become like Christ for the glory of God. He does this by utilizing a variety of theological concepts such as typology, Christian virtue ethics, philosophy and complementary contrasts to draw students closer to the Lord. He is the author of The Living Dead Revival Guide: Vital Information for Living In Christ, a book that utilizes the analogy of a Zombie Apocalypse which sees the gospel as the cure to Death (separation) unto true Life (relationship with God by grace, through faith, in Christ, according to the scriptures, for the glory of God).
He is a 2014 graduate from University of Colorado at Colorado Springs with a Bachelor's Degree Majoring in Leadership Communication with a Minor in Philosophy. He has been a believer since getting baptized on May 19, 2013. His "life verse" is Romans 12:2 which says, "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." (Romans 12:2 ESV) He has been married to his college sweetheart, Erika, since March 4th, 2013 and they have four lovely children: Luca, Finn, Whitney, and Victor.
